Northern CanadaNorthern Canada:
Collected Essays Volume I
By:  Colin A. Ross, M.D.

Dr. Ross lived in the Canadian Artic from 1970-1975, and again the summers of 1976 and 1977. He spent three winters there without running water in his home, and one without electricity. During these years, he spent countless hours in the bush, hunting, hiking and studying the energy fields of the wilderness. He also observed and participated in the industrial and political life of the North, and read widely in anthropology. The essays in Northern Canada are from this period and reflect these different interests.
